Lecture activity in the field of pain medicine
The continuous sharing of specialist knowledge and the exchange with colleagues from various medical disciplines are a central part of our work. This year we were again actively involved in medical education and contributed to the ongoing discussion in pain medicine.
In February Dr med Jan Ludwigs was invited to the quarterly meeting of the general practitioners Hoeefe and spoke on the topic of back pain diagnosis and therapy. In October two further continuing education events followed. At the FOSUMIS Forum Addiction Medicine Central Switzerland Dr med Jan Ludwigs gave a lecture titled Empire of Pain on opioid dependence and pain. In addition he presented current developments and modern treatment approaches based on underlying pain mechanisms at a continuing education event for general practitioners in Zurich on the topic Pain medicine in the twenty first century from pain mechanisms to pain treatment.
We are also available for lecture activities. Clinics practices and professional events are welcome to contact us at any time for presentations and continuing education in the field of pain medicine.
